Full Render of a House in Audenshaw Tameside

The owner of this house in Audenshaw wanted to give it a face lift. We have full re rendered it and it now looks great.

There’s no denying that applying a render system to an old, tired-looking building will transform its appearance – making it look modern and more visually appealing. Local authorities will often use render when renovating their properties for this reason.

This aesthetic improvement can be beneficial in multiple ways – if you live in the property – it makes your home look nice. If you looking at selling a property, it can make it look more visually appealing to potential buyers. External walls that are in a poor condition can lead to the ingress of water and external debris which will worsen if left untreated. The use of a render system on an external wall forming a barrier, protecting a building from the elements. These renders incorporate water repellent technology, protecting against water whilst still allowing the substrate to breathe.

From a wide range of colours, to a huge selection of textures and finishes, there are a wealth of possibilities available when rendering a house.

Extension Completed in Chadderton

This month we have completed a side extension in Chadderton Oldham.

If you are considering extending your home it can increase its value, it’s also worth considering the solutions to problems a home extension can provide. Could it fix the problem with the creaking, leaking conservatory? Will it give your family a bigger kitchen that it will be easier to live life in? Will it improve the flow of your home? Will it mean you can open the back door and go straight into the garden? Will it give you space for an office? Does it provide a room so people can come and stay? Home extensions can be a great solution to these common problems.

Considering a new staircase?

When considering a new replacement staircase or stairwell you need to think about the materials you like and the style you wish to achieve. Traditional wooden staircases are always warm, look great in almost any home, plus can be painted or stained to suit. But there are also many modern steel and glass designs for those looking for a more contemporary look. When choosing the materials, it really all comes down to your available budget and personal preference. Whatever material you choose, it will have to comply with current Building Regulations if you are having a new staircase rather than simply replacing an existing one.

The stairway construction must be strong enough to hold your weight while allowing comfortable access to the second floor. Also, on entering many homes the staircase is immediately visible, so it needs to look great too!

Energy Efficient French Doors Dukinfield.

We have been fitting new energy efficient French doors fitted this month in Dukinfield. Standard doors can negatively affect your home’s climate control by letting the air conditioning seep out, or letting the heat and humidity seep in. You waste more energy than you think through your home’s doors. External rendering work Stockport

The Old Vic pub in Edgeley Stockport, Cheshire needed some attention. We have been giving it an external facelift, rendering the gable end this week.

It also acts as a decorative finish to enhance the appearance of a building. The number one reason historically for rendering property is to improve the look. Fencing in Stretford

We have been busy this week repairing fencing in Stretford, Manchester. We needed to put a fence post as a replacement.

In today’s modern world, it seems impossible to maintain any privacy. Urban sprawl and an increased demand for housing means that traditional walled properties have been replaced by open plan living, giving the illusion of bright and uncluttered gardens that, ironically, reduce personal space.

But installing fences for privacy is not just about height. You can increase your privacy by positioning screening in the right place in your garden.

Are you looking to improve your garden, keep pets enclosed, or perhaps security and privacy are key concerns? Whatever your goals identifying what you need your fencing to do will ensure that you get a practical fencing solution that’s pleasing on the eye. Consider your neighbours. There is a saying ‘good fences make good neighbours.’

If you need fencing repairing or replacing in Ashton, Denton Dukinfield, Hyde, Stalybridge, Saddleworth or the Greater Manchester area call us on 0161 465 9112.
